I perfect the expressive capacities of the human portrait by seeking an entry into the nature, into the essence of the subject matter. In my native country, Bulgaria, as well as in my adoptive home, Arizona, I have sought to render in painting the mythology and folklore of earlier societies. I am inspired by the history of the cultural ethnicities that comprise the U.S., and in particular the Native American culture and costumes. My style is classical realism. I am happy when the audience understands the vision I wanted to express with my paintings and appreciates it. Art is a window, through which the viewer can discover the artist's soul. I hope my fans will discover mine.
